What to do before Saturday 25 February
- Obtain a Walk and Run registration form (click here for the electronic pdf file).
- Collect sponsorship:
- A sponsor may donate based upon how many laps you complete. For example, if someone promises you 1 birr per lap and you run or walk 20 laps, then they would give you 20 birr.
- A sponsor may give one flat donation regardless of how many laps you do.
- Pre-register during International Day outside the cafeteria. You must bring your sponsorship form and you will be assigned a coded running number.
On the day of the event
There will be two separate runs:
9:30 – 10:00 AM: Early Childhood – Grade 4
10:30 – 11:30 AM: Grades 5- 12
If you have already pre-registered, you will pick up your running number in the registration and report to the assigned staging area.
If you did not pre-register, please arrive early to register, as registration will take a few minutes. Proceed to the registration tent with your sponsorship form and collect your color coded running number then report to the assigned staging area.
After the event
Your sponsorship form will be returned to you by your teacher or advisor a few days after the event.
Collect the sponsorship money and turn it in to your teacher or advisor by March 9
Elementary students will turn their sponsorship money and form in to their teacher.
Middle and high school can turn in their collected sponsorship to Mr. Hathaway or Mr. Lahdeaho.
